Amplified Sound is a
company that specializes in selling new and used music equipment and
accessories. Established in 2007, the store offers signature company
items such as guitar picks, gig bags, cables and etc made from a
third-party company in China. The company is also an authorized
dealer of other well known brands of musical equipment. The company
has future goals of creating their own signature instruments and
equipment.
In 2007, the
company was created with the intention of only existing as an online
retailer in the America and surrounding borders. With much success,
the company has quickly grown and branched out with two store
locations in every state. Being compared to other companies such as
Guitar Center, Musicians Friend and Sweetwater Sound has pushed the
company to provide the highest quality of costumer service and tech
support . Amplified Sound has created jobs for over 2000 Americans in
their local stores, warehouses, online customer service and tech
support representatives. Local stores are open seven days a week from
10-9 and customer service is provided six days a week from 9-10. Be
sure to stop by your nearest Amplified Sound location in Oklahoma
City or Tulsa.
I like you website it is clean, well laid out,and all the fonts flow well together. The packaging around your instrument cable was well done. I did however feel that the sign in the window faded into the backgound was not as strong as some of your other components.
The delivery trucks, storefronts, and products look realistic and neat. I do have few criticisms about your project though. 1. The O in your logo looks more like the inside of an orange than it does a sound plug. 2. Your "commercial" looks like any other cornball video you can find on YouTube. It specifically reminds me of the YouTube poops. 3. The website is too crowded and makes my eyes hurt a little. 4. The mall coupon is too busy and some of the text is hard to read.
Comparing all of your designs together, I have to say I wish you would have been a little more consistent with your colors. The website didn't seem to match the billboard or the billboard to the packaging for the cords. The website colors are a bit boring, with the way they are used but overall, I don't think there's much wrong with it. I really love your logo and I understood immediately the the O is Sound wasn't a button but rather some connection piece relative to your products. The splash screen was nice too. As for your commercial, I was thoroughly chilled afterwards--if that's what you were going for! lol. I think the commercial was awesome, though you should make the "kidnapper" voice just a bit clearer for the hearing-impaired (me, in other words). I would have to say you had the best commercial in class and I wonder if you worked harder on it than some of the other stuff in your project, because, well, it shows. Good job, Eli.
Despite your hold up on the logo, you completed everything. I say good job on the logo. I do think the website is just a little crowded but it is still successful. On the coupon, it is hard to see the white words in the middle area but other than that it is good.
haha ill never forget your video.. aha your commercial is definitely somethin that i would see on tv.. (society is crazy now and days) lol and a lot of your packaging design were legit.. i really like your chord designs.
Probably some of the best work you have done in this class. I think the simple labeling on the products were the strongest out of the bunch, they were like simple stamp style logos, not over the top and worked out well.
I think you did a great job with everything on this project. The products turned out really well with the labels looking like something you might actually find in store that sells music equipment and accessories. I think the website looks nice, the only thing that I might change would be to maybe make the width on the sidebar that's located on the right a little bit smaller. On the mail-out the background is a bit busy, which makes it a little tough to read the text so you might change that to something a little bit simpler. Over all though everything turned out very nice, good job.
You made a whole lot of things! Impressive! I like your color choices, that's a very unique purply color. Your commercial was epic. The "O" did look like a button at first. Your smartphone icon "AS" keeps making me think of butts, but the colors are really nice. I honestly like your website despite others complaints. I did think your coupon page was a little goofy, though. That impact font.
My favorite thing you did was the packaging that is holding the cable. Your logo looks very nice there. The cleaning cloth is nice as well, I just wish the logo was not closer to the side than it was to the bottom. Nice tiny logo on the guitar chord as well. My only complaint would be that I don't understand what the O is, but I'm not sure if that really matters.
I will admit you did well on this, even though you were my competitor! i really like the commercial too!
